Gruden was established in 1995 and developed Australia’s first Online Tax Return System. An early digital adopter and pioneer of the internet, our Digital Services arm was supporting large, worldwide brands and government agencies from the start.
One of the largest sites we have built is the AusTender platform, which now procures over $35bn worth of transactions a year for the Australian Government’s Department of Finance. This offering formed the basis of our Government Practice arm within Gruden.
As a result of our innovative approaches and thirst to always challenge the norm, we developed mobileDEN., a mobile cloud based engagement and transaction platform. mobileDEN. was created in 2013 and to this day supports some of the world’s most recognised quick service restaurant (QSR) brands such as Starbucks, Red Rooster, Donut King and Jamie’s Italian.
Our Performance Marketing arm, formerly known as Blackglass, formed in 2005 during the early adoption of digital acquisition marketing. In this part of the business we focussed on driving measurable success within paid search, SEO and email, as well as leading the way during the growth of social media. Large clients like Woolworths have strong social media governance procedures thanks to our relationship.
In 2014 the decision to significantly increase investment in mobileDEN. and to take the business global, saw the formation of the The Gruden Group under an ASX listing to achieve the perfect technology and digital partner who could offer innovative, end-to-end solutions, and continue driving our platforms in the global Fintech marketplace. The Gruden Group listing was finalised mid-2016 and has since seen the business grow from strength to strength.
